With a 2.5 year old and 1 year old, sometimes the only way to guarantee that they both get their nap in is by going on a nap drive. Over the last little while I’ve been on the lookout for the perfect nap drives around Kitsap — routes that are long enough to get the kids settled, don’t have a million stoplights (because mine wake up the second I brake), and are enjoyable to drive along while I sip my iced americano. I put them all in one place here in case they’re helpful to someone else!
Every route below is at least 20 minutes, most closer to 30–45. Each route opens directly in Google Maps so you can just tap and go!
~25–30 minutes
A straight, predictable drive from Bremerton down Central Valley into Poulsbo. Mostly long stretches and gentle curves, perfect for keeping kids asleep, and you can extend it slightly by looping into Poulsbo backroads if needed, or just turn right back around and head down Central Valley again.

BREMERTON TO POULSBO ROUTE
~20–25 minutes
This is an easy, repetitive loop that’s great when you don’t want to think. Mostly right turns and very few full stops once you’re going.

Quiet roads, trees, and water views once you’re past Winslow. This is one of the easiest places to just keep moving without a lot of stopping.
